Onmyoji: The Card Game launches globally

A spinoff of the NetEase’s Onmyoji, Onmyoji: The Card Game is now available for download worldwide! Command your favourite Ashikaga in this mobile CCG.

Previously, the English version of the game released only in Singapore, Australia, Thailand and the Philippines. Now, Onmyoji fans from across the globe can now try out the game on their Android and iOS devices.

With Onmyoji: The Card Game meeting all of its preregistration goals, the game looks to have a strong start. More than 200,000 players have pre-registered, with each person receiving various card packs and other goodies upon login.

Besides pre-registration, the game is running an event called Open Server Assembly.

New players who join the game can earn interesting rewards as displayed in the picture above. According to the game’s Facebook page, more rewards will be unlocked upon participation.

Onmyoji: The Card Game adopts a fresh take on traditional CCG. By ditching the Class concept, its strategic core is the combining of Shikigami and their exclusive cards. Shikigami take turns to fight in the combat zone. The card mechanics are constantly updating and the abundant PvP and PvE content brings endless possibilities.
