Tom and Jerry: Chase has managed to achieve 1 million pre-registrations! The fast-paced 1v4 battle mobile game, as developed by Netease Games and licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, is certainly proving plenty popular in Southeast Asia.

Fans have been analyzing skills, weapons and characters in the game, like Butch, the leader of the alley cats. Butch’s unique weapon is a trash can lid that can stun nearby mice, which would be fearsome in the right hands. Closer looks at some of the maps have also revealed NPC introductions, exclusive item tutorials as well as various tips and tricks.

The Classical House map has the NPC, Spike. Both cat and mice can strike Spike twice to obtain a bone to call upon Tyke, who can turn the tides of battle. Special items like the Gramophone in the living room is an interactive item that can change the background music during a match, or find the secret pipes to travel quickly from the utility room to the yard.

More details about the other characters and NPCs will be released in the coming days, like Detective Jerry, Mouseketeer Jerry, Joan, Armor and King. Tutorials about the Summer Cruise and Night Castle maps will also be released via the official Facebook page.
