Identity V and Detective Conan reveals Mouri Kogorou!

In a short teaser clip originally uploaded back in May, details regarding the Identity V and Detective Conan collaboration has at last revealed one character: Mouri Kogorou, the Sleeping Detective himself! See the original teaser below:

The Detective Conan collaboration is currently only confirmed for the China server of Identity V, so players in other servers will have to wait and see how the licensing issues work out. Detective Conan is localized as Case Closed for the west, and names for characters have likewise been changed.

We can probably reasonably assume that the titular Conan himself will be playable in some form, being the protagonist. Other characters we could peg to be playable would of course include Mouri Ran, Kogorou’s daughter, and maybe one or even both Shuichi Akai and Tooru Amuro considering their immense popularity, in at least Japan (even if the collab won’t be heading their way yet). It wouldn’t be a stretch to assume that any of the Black Organization or Kaitou Kid might appear as skins for either Survivors or Hunters themselves.

With one character revealed, players can probably expect information regarding the collab to be rolling out over the next days or weeks until the start of the collab proper.
