Today, CAPCOM Taiwan just officially announced that they will be releasing a new Mega Man X (Rock Man X in Japan) game. This new Mega Man game will be released in Android and iOS and will be available in Macau, Taiwan and Hong Kong region only. Currently the game will be in Traditional Chinese language, there are no official statement if the game will have a global version or other language.

The story sets in the digital world of Mega Man X series game data was stored. In the game data, “you” are also saved in the game’s memory. For unknown reason, the game data is corrupted. Because of that, the game appears to be glitched causing the stages, Maverics and all the characters from MEGAMEN X series are mixed up. You as the player has to get into the game log and repair the data.

Mega Man X DiVE is a 3D side-scroller game just like the previous Mega Man X series game. You will have to jump, wall climbing, sprinting, and shoot in order to advance the game. Characters like Mega Man, Zero and Axl will be returning to the series as playable characters. Players will be going up against familiar bosses from Megaman X series. No official pre-registration or release date so far.
