A while back, Nexon Thailand confirmed that it won the rights to publish World of Dragon Nest for South East Asia. Now, five new features of the game have been revealed on Nexon Thailand’s Facebook page.
Below are the five features as described by Nexon Thailand:

Open World
The game will be set in an open world, which you now get to experience on mobile devices. Things you can do include farming, fishing, crafting, mining and more.

New weapon swap system
You can equip two weapons at the same time and swap them on the fly. This should allow you to create a wider variety of combos.

Selectable gender
This time around, you’ll get to choose your gender in World of Dragon Nest.

Multi-verse storyline
Not too sure about this one but the description reads: “When the world has collapsed, the only way to save it is to go back to fix the past. From the traitor to a mighty hero… Velskud a Saint Haven knight who has betrayed his friend will return to fix his tragedy.”
We can probably expect the story to involve multiple instances of the same characters, each with different backgrounds.

Siege Warfare
A game mode that allows up to 200 people to have large-scale siege battles.
World of Dragon Nest SEA will be available to players in Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore. There still isn’t a final launch date for it but you can expect the SEA version to be released within 2019.
