Heroes of Flatlandia is a premium fantasy turn-based strategy game out now

For those who are looking for a premium strategy game on mobile, we have a suggestion for you! An indie studio, Highland Studio has recently launched Heroes of Flatlandia. It is a fantasy turn-based strategy game with detailed tactical battles and no micro-transactions since it is a premium game.

Inspired by PC classics like Age of Wonders, the game features 3 distinct races of elves, orcs and undead. You will need to form an army from the 21 different units and 6 playable heroes, then raise them to crash your enemies. A variety of spells and abilities are available, there are plenty of maps that you can explore as well. Moreover, it is featuring a local multiplayer mode allowing you to compete against AI or your friends.

In our opinion, Heroes of Flatlandia is having a pretty nice-looking art style and game mechanics. However, it still lacks strategic depth, there are not enough campaign stages to enjoy too. More content is sure to be coming in the future and if you would like to give it a try, the game costs $1.99 (about RM8) on iOS or RM7.49 on Android. There is a free demo version available on Android too so you can try out before you buy.
