Arknights is finally available to play on the big screen with its PC release today. The 2020 title has had a loyal player base since its release on mobile, with users opting for emulators to play on their PCs. 

Starting August 13, however, Arknights comes with a dedicated PC launcher that can be downloaded for free from the game’s official website. With this port, keyboard-and-mouse controls will be fully supported, allowing for a more seamless way to deploy and manage their Operators.

Most importantly, the PC release will feature cross-progression. This means that longtime players can simply overwrite their saves on whichever platform they choose to play on, granted that they’re using the same supported account and not playing as a guest.

From unlocked Operators to progression, purchased content, and more, they’ll be synchronized between the two platforms.

Arknights is a story-driven free-to-play tactical RPG set in a post-apocalyptic world called Terra. The world is dependent on the powerful but deadly mineral Originium, whose exposure causes the crystallising disease known as Oripathy.

Arknights is relatively easy to run on PC, requiring just 8GB of RAM, 30GB of storage, and a GTX 750 Ti at minimum. Its modest system requirements, combined with its accessible tower defence-style gameplay, could help the game reach an even wider audience.
