The Pokémon Company has announced a new expansion for Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket titled Paradox Drive. It will launch on May 27. The update introduces Paradox-themed content inspired by the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet era. In addition, it adds Ancient and Future Pokémon cards to the mobile game.
Ancient and Future Pokémon Cards Arrive in Paradox Drive

The new expansion adds Ancient and Future Pokémon cards for the first time in the game. These cards take inspiration from Paradox Pokémon introduced in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.
Players can collect and use new cards, including the Legendary Pokémon Koraidon and Miraidon. Moreover, these cards can be combined with other cards of the same subcategory. As a result, players gain more options when building decks.
The expansion also strengthens deck-building strategies. For example, Ancient and Future cards open new synergies that were not available before. Therefore, players can experiment with more varied competitive setups.
New Events Roll Out Across Late May and June

The expansion will be supported by several in-game events. First, the Paradox Drive Emblem Event will run in late May and early June. Players can earn emblems, Shinedust, and other rewards through battles.
Next, Community Week will take place in early June. During this period, players can trade cards and share resources. In addition, they can earn Trade Hourglasses, accessories, and other rewards.
After that, the Ceruledge ex Drop Event will arrive in mid to late June. Players can complete solo battles to earn B Series promo packs vol. 9. Meanwhile, a Wonder Pick Event will also run during the same period. It will feature promo cards such as Sableye and Floragato. Furthermore, missions will offer event shop tickets that can be exchanged for promo cards.
A Major Content Update for Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket

Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket continues to expand its content steadily. With this update, the game adds a new layer of strategy and collection depth. In particular, the introduction of Paradox Pokémon marks a major step forward for deck variety.
Overall, “Paradox Drive” strengthens both casual play and competitive strategies. As a result, players receive more ways to build decks and engage with events. Finally, the expansion positions the game for continued updates in the coming months.
