After a period of maintenance, Snowbreak: Containment Zone is getting ready to welcome players back. The game’s servers officially opened on May 8, 2026 at 14:00 (UTC+8), and a limited-time event called “Winds of Warmth” will kick off at the same time. Full details for the event will be shared in a separate announcement.
Dear Adjutants,

[Maintenance Compensation & Distribution]…— Snowbreak: Containment Zone (@SnowbreakEN) May 7, 2026
To make up for the downtime, the Snowbreak Operation Team is sending out a set of compensation rewards to all players through in-game mail. Here is a breakdown of what players can expect:
Players will receive an Ever Together Advanced Manifestation Invitation Letter, which lets them pick one Orange-tier operative from the Official Release period up to the “Fragments of Truth” update. Along with that, an Ever Together Advanced Weapon Bay will also be given out, allowing players to choose one Orange-tier weapon from the same time frame.
Players will also get a Special Time-Limited Manifestation Echo Covenant once per day, with a cap of 66 total. These can only be used during the “Winds of Warmth” limited operative echo events and will be removed automatically once the event ends.
For 14 days after the servers open, players will receive daily rewards: 4 Memory Chip Bundles and 2 large Baldr Inhibitors. Both are valid for 14 days from the time they are received.
On top of all that, players will get a “Welcome Home” namecard, a “Full Throttle” avatar, and a set of chat stickers featuring Acacia, Marian, Fritia, and Longyan.

For those who missed it, the maintenance was not a routine update. Snowbreak: Containment Zone went offline for an indefinite period earlier this year while the developers worked through a combination of technical and content-related issues.
The downtime was connected to a collaboration the game had with China Post, which included a series of stamps and letters featuring characters from the game. The promotion drew unexpected mainstream media attention, including television coverage, and faced public criticism over the game’s 18+ content and character designs. Critics argued that such material was not appropriate for a state-owned entity like China Post to be associated with.
