SEGA has announced that Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble for Nintendo Switch is now part of Nintendo’s Game Trials program. Nintendo Switch Online members can download and play the full game at no extra cost until April 29, 2026.

The Game Trial window runs from April 23 at 11:00 AM through April 29 at 4:59 PM (UTC+8). Any save data built up during the trial carries over if you decide to buy the full game afterward. To get started, head to the game’s page on the My Nintendo Store or Nintendo eShop through your Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2. From there, go to Game Trials and select Download. Players currently on a Nintendo Switch Online free trial are also eligible to access Game Trials.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble is an action party game where players roll through stages to reach the goal. It comes with two main modes:

• Adventure Mode features over 200 stages and a story mode with a new cast of characters.
• Battle Mode supports up to 16 players online, letting you compete against friends, family, and players around the world.

The game also supports split-screen play for up to 4 players on a single Nintendo Switch.

Alongside the free trial, digital versions of the game are currently on sale at 65% off. The discount is available for a limited time only.
