PERSONA 5 Special Big Band Concert Asia Tour 2026 Is Heading to Kuala Lumpur This June

The PERSONA 5 Special Big Band Concert Asia Tour 2026 is making its way to Kuala Lumpur due to popular demand. The concert is set for June 18, 2026, Thursday, at the Mega Star Arena, Kuala Lumpur. Tickets go on sale starting April 1 and can be purchased here.

The show brings the music of Atlus’s hit JRPG Persona 5 to life through a full big band experience. The game’s soundtrack which is composed by Shoji Meguro and well known for blending jazz, funk, and soul will be performed live by around 30 musicians from the United States and Japan.

Leading the show is Charlie Rosen, a two-time Grammy and two-time Tony Award winner, who handles the music arrangements, direction, and conducting. Rosen also heads The 8-Bit Big Band, a Grammy Award-winning game music jazz orchestra. In 2025, he received a Grammy nomination for Best Arrangement, Instrumental and Vocals, for his arrangement of Persona 5’s “Last Surprise.”

Joining him on stage is Lyn, the original vocalist of Persona 5, as the featured singer. The rest of the lineup includes musicians active in New York’s jazz scene, as well as top Japanese players handpicked by world-renowned trumpeter Eric Miyashiro. The concert originally ran in Japan last year, where tickets sold out instantly including additional added performances  drawing over 10,000 fans in total.

A Phantom Thief Experience

The concert has been described as a full-scale reinterpretation of the Persona 5 soundtrack, transforming it from game music into a live jazz performance experience that blends gaming culture with professional orchestration.

With over 22 million copies sold worldwide, Persona 5 remains one of the most influential entries in the franchise, widely recognised for its jazz, funk, and soul-inspired soundtrack composed by Shoji Meguro. The PERSONA 5 Special Big Band Concert previously premiered in Japan to overwhelming demand, with tickets selling out instantly and additional shows added due to popularity. It has also been featured at the Montreux Jazz Festival Japan.
