Advent Children Joins Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis with New Collabs

Square Enix marked the second anniversary of Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis with a special broadcast, revealing several major updates and crossover events coming to the mobile and PC title.

Advent Children Event & Original Sephiroth For Ever Crisis

The headline reveal is the arrival of Original Sephiroth as a new playable unit on September 6 at 7 PM PT. Launching alongside him is the Advent Children collaboration event, which introduces themed outfits for the cast and adds Bahamut SIN as a powerful new summon. A new feature will also debut, allowing players to acquire and equip enemy abilities.

Story Update – The First Soldier: Episode II

Fans of the ongoing storyline can also look forward to the conclusion of Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier – Episode II in October 2025, closing out the current chapter of the narrative.

Tetsuya Nomura on Future Projects

Upcoming Collaborations: Final Fantasy XIII & NieR

In November 2025, Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis will introduce a collaboration with Final Fantasy XIII. This update will feature new character outfits inspired by the beloved RPG, giving players a fresh way to experience the game.

The celebrations will continue in December 2025 with a large-scale NieR collaboration. Spanning Replicant, Reincarnation, and Automata, this crossover promises a variety of themed content designed to capture the unique atmosphere of the NieR series.
