KONAMI has announced the winners of the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship (WCS) 2025, which reached its exciting finale on Sunday, August 31, at Maison de la Mutualité in Paris, France. The tournament returned to Europe for the first time in over half a decade and crowned new World Champions across four different categories. Beyond crowning champions, the event also featured major announcements including the location for next year’s championship, a high-profile collaboration with football star Neymar Jr., and the launch of a limited-edition streetwear collection.

Champions Crowned

In the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG) tournament during the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2025, Julien Kehon from USA beat Tom Kleinegraeber from Germany to win the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG World Champion 2025 title.

In Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS, both the SPEED DUEL and RUSH DUEL finals brought intense matches. Snyffus took home the SPEED DUEL trophy, while Yumehara-sensei won the RUSH DUEL competition. The Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL final featured an exciting 3v3 team battle, where Team Ragnarok won. The winning team consisted of Antonio Papa (N3sh), Herman Hansson (Mist), and Luka Forjan (Luka).

Various Announcements

A teaser trailer aired during the WCS 2025 livestream revealed that next year’s Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2026 will take place in Tokyo, Japan. Duelists from around the globe will reunite to compete for the ultimate title.

KONAMI announced a new collaboration between the Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game and eFootball and eFootball CHAMPION SQUADS during the championship broadcast. The partnership features eFootball ambassador Neymar Jr. alongside five players from the French national team. A special video featuring comments from Neymar Jr. directed at both football fans and Duelists is now available, with more details about the collaboration coming soon.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game has partnered with Copenhagen-based streetwear label FINE CHAOS for a limited-edition apparel collection. The collaboration brings FINE CHAOS’ raw, industrial aesthetic to iconic Yu-Gi-Oh! artwork, targeting Duelists, creatives, and collectors. The collection launched at the World Championships and is currently available only through an online raffle system. Interested buyers can register at their official websote for the limited-run release.
