Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian Launches on PS5, Switch, and Steam This September

Koei Tecmo and Gust have officially announced that Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian will launch on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam on September 26, 2025.

Atelier Resleriana is the latest entry in Gust’s long-running Atelier series, known for its blend of alchemy-based crafting, character-driven storytelling, and cozy JRPG vibes.

Set in a world where alchemy has faded into myth, Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian follows the dual protagonists Resna, a passionate and determined alchemist, and Valeria, a mysterious white-haired warrior with a hidden past.

The story unfolds across multiple character arcs as they strive to revive alchemy and uncover the secrets behind the fading light in their world. Along the way, they’ll encounter both new allies and returning characters from across the series, including Sophie Neuenmuller, Totooria Helmold, Wilbell Voll-Ersleid, and Razeluxe Meitzen.

With stunning anime-style visuals, an expansive world, and a turn-based battle system familiar to fans of Atelier Ryza, the game promises to deliver the franchise’s signature charm in a new format.

The game offers the classic Atelier gameplay, focusing on gathering, synthesis, and exploration. Players can explore multi-layered dungeons that change with each visit, and provide rare accessories called Starpearls. This game combines a rich, story-driven experience with multiple playable characters, strategic, timeline-based turn-based combat, deep alchemy and synthesis mechanics, and gorgeous 2D/3D hybrid visuals.
