During our time at Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 over at Manila, Philippines, we were given the opportunity to check out several of the latest Acer products from laptops, monitors and more.

SpatialLabs Product Line

Predator SpatialLabs View 27 Monitor

Presenteed with a special SpatialLabs display, the View 27 monitor is capable of providing an impressive 3D experience even when connecting it to a regular Predator laptop. This monitor also provides great audio with SpatialLabs TrueGame Stereo 3D Gaming.

During the demo, TEKKEN 7 was played using the Predator SpatialLabs View 27. The visuals have been enhanced, especially when it comes to the depth effect of the characters, as you’re able to judge the position of the characters.

Another game that was demoed was Kena: Bridge of Spirits, where you could feel like you’re in the game yourself as parts of the environment makes it feel like it’s coming out off the screen.

Acer Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition

Not only Predator products come equipped with SpatialLabs technology, but also Acer’s Aspire line of laptops with the Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition which also comes with AI functions like the Swift Go 14. It’s easy to produce in 3D considering you can  visualise how models look in 3D. Another selling point for the Aspire 3D 15 is that it’s a cheaper alternative to the Predator SpatialLab series.

Consumer & Monitor Product Line

Acer Swift Go 14

Acer Swift Go 14 comes with a dedicated button for Copilot, your AI assistant. By pressing the button, Copilot is ready to help you in carrying out the task. This laptop is also equipped with an Acer PurifiedView webcam, and there’s various things you can do with this AI function such as making your background blurry during discussions, gaze correction with Eye Contact, and Automatic Framing where the AI will aid you in cropping a right and nice frame.

Additionally, the Acer Purified Voice 2.0 also comes with AI Noise Reduction that will improve the quality of your voice and reduce noise interference.

The AI function doesn’t stop there either as it also comes with other features for graphic production. You can use the Intel Unison to get the picture you want in the computer and use it to create your own stickers using Acer LiveArt. Furthermore, you can generate AI images using GIMP and Intel Stable Diffusion. You’re also able to generate your own 3D wallpaper using the Acer AlterView.

The touchpad present on the Acer Swift Go 14 can be multi-controlled by swiping right on the word “SWIFT” which pulls up icons that will appear on the touchpad, where you can control audio volume, play/pause, mute, full screen and back/forward.

The trackpad also comes with a cool function where alt-tabbing out from an application that doesn’t make use of the volume features will automatically turn it off.

Acer Swift Go 16

The Swift Go 16 comes with the same AI functionality as the Swift Go 14, but has a larger display. Regarding the touchpad, it only comes with a normal touchpad function unlike the Swift Go 14.

Acer Swift X14

The Swift X14 also has AI functions like the Swift Go 14, and gets several updates to its hardware. For this new model, it comes equipped with a 4060/4070 graphics card that provides greater performance than before. Comparing the size with other gaming laptops, the size is smaller and suitable for AutoCAD  and Adobe users.

Acer Aspire Vero 16

Just like the Swift series, the Aspire Vero 16 is equipped with AI features like the Swift Go 14. Interestingly enough, this new model is produced with 60% recycled materials. When the laptop was launched in the Philippines, it attracted the attention of many users there because of its design and scratch resistance.

If you’re the type who cares about privacy, this laptop comes with a physical webcam cover, so your privacy remains safe.

Predator X34 X Monitor

Turning to the monitor, the Predator X34 X is a gaming monitor that comes with a 34-inch UWQHD OLED display and has a refresh rate of up to 240Hz. This curved monitor is also equipped with a much larger 800R Curve, making it a unique monitor.

To get 240Hz, you can just use any cable no matter the DP, Type-C or HDMI 2.0. This monitor also has two 5W stereo speakers for a great audio experience.

Predator X39 Monitor

This monitor has the same features as the Predator X34 X but comes with a larger display of 39 inches.
