Apex Legends Season 19 dubbed “Ignite” will see a brand new Legend in Conduit, new weapon updates, and more.

Conduit

Tactical: Radiant Transfer

Conduit will be a shield healer, a support legend based around the idea of restoring or reinforcing her teammate’s shields. Upon activating her tactical, Conduit sends a surge of energy from herself to a teammate, generating temporary shields for the both of them.

These temporary shields are generated over time and fill any missing capacity that your teammate might have. However, these shield regeneration can be paused if the player is taking damage can be damaged in the same way as regular shields.

Passive: Savior’s Speed

Her passive is enabled by her exosuit’s enhanced legs and powered by her own sheer determination and motivation to support her teammates. Conduit gets a burst of speed when sprinting towards her teammates or outside of her tactical range.

It’s perfect to catch up with those overzealous teammates or generally just make it easier for Conduit to stay with her team regardless of the composition.

Ultimate: Energy Barricade

Conduit’s ultimate launches an array of seven shield jamming devices which both damages and slow down enemies who try to run through them. They are arranged in a line across the battlefield, so they can be used to discourage a push from an enemy team, or to cut off their escape.

Storm Point Map Update

In Season 19, Storm Point will see around 40% of changes with 6 new POIs like Watson’s Pylon and Zeus Station that are tied to the energy work.

Lighting Rod will see a rework to the overall surface area of that zone and being brought in closer to the rest of Storm Point. Another big change is with the Forbidden Zone in the center of the map, where players will have smoother rotations and having the prowlers there removed. There’s also new structures sprinkled throughout.

The overall map size of Storm Point will be reduced but new central POI will be added in like the aforementioned Watson’s Pylon and the ceto station.

Promotion Trials

The core idea of the Promotion Trials is to have players prove their skills to earn their promotion up to the next tier. When players get to the top of any specific tier that they’re in, they’ll have to complete a set of time-limited skill challenges to earn their promotion.

Promotion Trials ensure a minimum skill level base to get between each tier and it also increases the intensity around ranking up.

An example being, you’re at the top of Silver 1 and you’re trying to promote into Gold 4 within the next five matches. You’ll need to either win one match or place in the Top 10 and get three kills or assist, three separate times within those five matches.

There will be a little tracker in the lobby when the Promotion Trials are active, so players will know what they’ll need to do to get promoted. If players fail a trail, the next time they enter, they’ll be given one additional match to complete it. If they get kicked down the ladder a little bit, they’ll need to climb up from a trial to start again and that will repeat with up to a 10 match window.

It’s worth noting that promotional trials are not active during provisional matches.

Weapon Update

The projectile size or projectile growth of the Longbow, Charge Rifle and Sentinel will be increased. For the Sentinel, it’s only for the charged shots. Meanwhile, the bullet drop ballistics for the Charge Rifle will be improved.

The Bocek Compound Bow will have faster initial draw speed and has more flexibility as a close corners option with a tightened Shatter Cap blast pattern, along with the option to toggle the Shatters off completely.

Season 19 will see the 30-30 Repeater and Hemlock be nerfed. The 30-30 will have an increase in the hip fire spread with successive shots, meaning that the hip fire spam will be a little less effective. While the Hemlock will see a small damage reduction from 22 damage per shot to 21.

The biggest change with the care packages is that now it will always have one weapon in them at all stage of the game. The L Star will be removed from the care pack and the Wingman will be the one replacing it, with a new damage buff and a modified hop up along with a Skullpiercer attachment.

The Turbocharger damage nerf from a season back will be reverted and in terms of gold weapon rotations, it’ll be the RE45 with Hammerpoint, the CAR, the L Star, Havoc and Longbow.

Legends Update

Catalyst’s Piercing Spikes’ core will no longer block projectiles, and the in-world countdown be reduced from 3 to 2 seconds along with making the throw range shorter. In terms of her ultimate, the lifetime will be reduced down to five seconds and the cooldown for the ultimate will only start after the wall comes up and sets it right when it’s being cast.

With Bangalore, her double time speed boost duration will be reduced by a bit, and the smoke lifetime will also be reduced, as well as the Rolling Thunder where the stun duration when being hit by one of those missiles will also be reduced.

Wraith’s voices of the void will have less cases of call ups that happen when you’re already in a death box.

Pathfinders’ care package scan will be able to scan even allies have scanned them, so players will still get the benefits of the zipline cooldown.

Revenant’s time extension for assists when players get knocks with Forged Shadows will be coming down significantly to just three seconds.

Vantage will gain an extra bullet in her ultimate to make an even six shots.

Newcastle’s Castle Wall reduces the recovery time on landing and increases the Max leap heights.
