Square Enix has revealed more details on their upcoming title, Infinity Strash : Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai, particularly for the main cast of the Disciples of Avan.

Infinity Strash : Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai is an action RPG where players take on their adventure as Dai and his friends.

Players will have access to a variety of attacks, guard and dodge to use at their disposal, along with using skills and spells from Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai.

Dai, Popp, Maam, and Hyunckel all have unique attack and skills that will be beneficial in their journey. Below are the breakdown of some of the character’s skills and battle style:

Dai – The Little Hero (C.V: Sabrina Pitre [EN], Atsumi Tanezaki [JP])

Normal Attack

Unique Skill – Draconic Aura

Dai cuts down enemies in close combat with his sword in hand. “Draconic Aura” greatly increases all his stats.

Skill – Wave Slash

Coup de Grace – Avan Strash

Dai uses the Avan Style Sword Techniques to defeat his enemies.

Popp – The Young Mage (C.V: Cole Howard [EN], Toshiyuki Toyonaga [JP])

Normal Attack

Unique Skill – Meditation

Popp excels at ranged magic attacks. His Unique Skill “Meditation” shortens the recovery time between each of his skills.

Skill – Crackle

Coup de Grace – Kafrizz

Popp is adept at Fire and Ice magic. His Coup de Grace “Kafrizz” is immensely powerful.

Maam – The Compassionate Warrior Priest (C.V: Diana Kaarina [EN], Mikako Komatsu [JP])

Normal Attack

Unique Skill – Reload

In addition to attacks using her hammer spear, she also supports others with her Magic Bullet Gun. Make sure to “Reload” her gun during battles.

Skill – Midheal

Coup de Grace – Magic Bullet: Crackle

Maam is skilled at Heal Spells like a typical Priest. With her Coup de Grace, she shoots enemies with bullets infused with the magic of Crackle.

Hyunckel – The Immortal Dark Swordsman (C.V: Vincent Tong [EN], Yuki Kaji [JP])

Normal Attack

Unique Skill – Amdo

Hyunckel crushes enemies with his Avan Style Sword Technique and many Dark Aura skills. “Amdo” increases his defence further by wearing the Dark Armour Blade.

Skill – Dark Puppetry Aura Hand

Coup de Grace – Bloody Scryde

Hyunckel is a master of Dark Aura. “Bloody Scryde” is his Coup de Grace that he developed during his days in the Dark Army.

As the story progresses, Maam changes her vocation to “Martial Artist” and Hyunckel changes his weapon to the “Dark Armour Spear” to help Dai on his adventure.

Infinity Strash : Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai is set to release on 28th September 2023 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
