Arknights: Perish in Frost second anime season confirmed

With the conclusion of the Arknights anime, Prelude to Dawn, we already know that the second season will be named “Perish in Frost“.

Seeing as Prelude to Dawn ended roughly around Chapter 3 of the Arknights main story chapters, we should be able to expect Perish in Frost to pick up from there to cover Chapters 4 to 6. Considering the name, FrostNova should be heavily featured in the arc.

While there is no other information outside of the title drop, it’s possible that some more information will be available at the upcoming Arknights 3rd anniversary livestream and in-person event. That will be on 7 and 8 January 2023 with tickets having gone for 5000 yen each, while the inclusion of a meet-and-greet and associated perks with Namie (artist of Mizuki and Goldenglow) made available at 88,000 (!) yen. Tickets are no longer available for purchase.

For those heading to Japan for Comiket 101, Yostar Japan will be having a booth for you to buy event merchandise for all the games they publish – which includes Azur Lane, Blue Archive and Mahjong Soul – besides Arknights.
