UNO x Anime Comes to McDonald’s: Collect My Hero Academia and SPY x FAMILY Cards

McDonald’s has launched a new Happy Meal promotion, combining the classic UNO card game with two popular anime series. Starting 22 January 2026, fans can collect UNO cards featuring characters from My Hero Academia and SPY x FAMILY. There are six different card variants released over three weeks. Fans can get their cards through Dine-In, Drive-Thru, or McDelivery.

Three Ways to Play, Two Epic Crossovers

The promotion includes three versions of UNO: classic UNO, UNO Flip!, and UNO All Wild. Each version features anime-themed character designs. Players can enjoy traditional rules or try the twists in UNO Flip! and UNO All Wild. Characters from My Hero Academia and SPY x FAMILY appear on the cards, letting fans interact with their favorite anime while playing.

Staggered Release for Collectors

McDonald’s is releasing the six card variants in three stages. The first two cards are available on 22 January. The next two drop on 29 January. The final two release on 5 February. This schedule gives collectors a better chance to complete the set after all cards are out. Early fans will want to grab the first variants quickly before they run out. Each Happy Meal comes with one free card.

Available Across Multiple Channels

Fans can get the cards no matter how they order their Happy Meal. Cards are included with in-store purchases, Drive-Thru orders, and McDelivery. This ensures everyone can join the promotion, whether they dine out or pick up their meal on the go.

Fun for Fans of All Ages

UNO x Anime appeals to both kids and adult anime fans. Children can enjoy the playful card game, while collectors can admire the detailed anime artwork. The campaign adds a fun, interactive layer to the Happy Meal experience. Fans can engage with both the UNO game and the anime worlds in a new way.

The first cards become available on 22 January 2026. Collectors and anime fans should act fast to secure the early variants. By 5 February, all six cards will be available, giving everyone the chance to complete their set.
