The Log Horizon browser game on GREE, creatively named New Adventures of Log Horizon, will become available on mobile devices. The game is a turn based RPG which sees players form and grow their guild, with a storyline and mechanics that follows closely to “the land of Elder-tale” to be able to include all the races into the game. As you progress, you’ll be able to collect the other characters, as you might expect. The gacha system is primarily to get weapons for your characters.

New Adventures of Log Horizon does not appear to be changing anything for its mobile release, so if any one who’s played the browser version can expect the same thing, just that you may no longer need a VPN to access the game through your browser. If you want to play the game on browser instead, here are the instructions:

1. Enter your email in the box you see on the website
2. The game URL will be emailed to you
3. Turn on the VPN and click the provided link. You may need a GREE account to play

With the anime’s third season on the, uh, horizon, you might want to try the game out while maybe hoping for a proper mobile title at some point.
