Kazuma Kaneko’s Tsukuyomi, the premium deckbuilding tower dungeon game from COLOPL, is gearing up for a major crossover with Capcom’s Devil May Cry 5. Players on Nintendo Switch will be able to encounter Dante, Nero, and Vergil in-game starting April 23, adding an extra layer of excitement to the roguelike adventure.
Devil Hunters Enter the Dungeon
In the middle of Tsukuyomi’s story, players will face the iconic Devil Hunters as formidable foes. Each encounter presents a challenging battle, with Dante, Nero, and Vergil unleashing powerful skills that require careful strategy to overcome. Successfully defeating these legendary characters rewards players handsomely and allows the Devil Hunters to join as “Jinma” card allies, combining the deckbuilding mechanics of Tsukuyomi with the stylish action of Devil May Cry 5.
Unique Card Effects Capture Devil May Cry Style
Each Devil Hunter brings a distinct set of abilities to the card battles. Dante’s “Stylish Rank” mechanic increases attack power the more hits are dealt in a turn. Nero’s “Exceed” grows stronger if left in hand at the end of a turn, while Vergil’s “Concentration” ramps up attack power through combo effects. Special conditions in battle trigger the characters’ “Devil Trigger” or “Sin Devil Trigger,” further enhancing card performance and strategy.
Exclusive Weapons Enhance Gameplay
Players can also collect signature weapons as exclusive “Divine Gear” items, including Dante’s Devil Sword Sparda, Nero’s Red Queen, and Vergil’s Yamato. Each weapon complements its respective character card, adding both aesthetic flair and gameplay depth to the crossover experience.
A Strategic Blend of Deckbuilding and Action
This collaboration seamlessly integrates the fast-paced, stylish combat of Devil May Cry 5 with Tsukuyomi’s tower dungeon deckbuilding. By combining unique card effects, powerful weapons, and strategic battle choices, players can enjoy a fresh twist on both franchises while testing their tactical skills across the game’s roguelike challenges.
Kazuma Kaneko’s Tsukuyomi launches exclusively on Nintendo Switch on April 23, offering fans a chance to experience this unique crossover firsthand. Screenshots and previews of the collaboration showcase the detailed card designs and immersive battle sequences that capture the essence of both worlds.
