Square Enix has revealed Story Mode details for Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai, an upcoming RPG set to release this coming September.

Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai is an upcoming RPG that is scheduled to be released on 29 September 2023 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

In the game, players will follow and experience the growth of the young hero, Dai, as he goes on a journey to become a true hero on the secluded Dermline Island.

Narrative-wise, players will go on an adventure following the story of the “Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai” anime, up until the “Battle Sovereign Rock Castle” chapter.

Throughout the story, players will experience the Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai story through iconic scenes recreated from the animated series and experience exciting battles.

Furthermore, players who find the battle challenging can lower the difficulty level through the Story-Focus Mode.

Bond Memories

As players advance through the Story Mode, the Demon Lord’s army grows and the battle intensifies.

When players play through the narrative, they will unlock a new character enhancement feature named “Bond Memories” after conquering the Temple of Recollection.

The Temple of Recollection features iconic scenes from the Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai” manga series and conquering them allows players to improve their characters with the power of bonds.

After then, players can equip the Bond Memories to their characters to enhance a variety of abilities, and as the character levels up, more equipment slots will be unlocked.

The Bond Memories are also categorized into 3 different rarity tiers, namely Silver, Gold, and Platinum, with their effects becoming more powerful the higher the rarity.

Additionally, Platinum tiers are said to possess unique effects that cannot be found on lower rarity Bond Memories.

Moreover, Square Enix has revealed some examples of Bond Memories and they are as follows:

A Sliver of Pride

The Bond Memory of the moment when Popp responds to Crocodine’s questions at Romos Castle.

When equipped, increases the power of magic spells.

The Thirst for Victory

The Bond Memory of a quote from Fiazzard that summarizes his goal to achieve victory at all costs.

When equipped, bolsters the character’s physical attacking abilities.

Dai’s Air Slash

The Bond Memory of the scene when Dai uses his special Avian Style Sword technique, “Air Slash”.

When equipped, in addition to the skill’s damage, also increases the power of the Air Slash.

Justice Itself is My Enemy

The Bond Memory of the moment when Hyunkei speaks after fueling with hatred and disappointment of justice.

When equipped, improves the wearer’s HP and defense.
