Hololy, the AR camera app featuring Hololive talents has seemingly updated out of nowhere to now feature the HoloX members.

The HoloX content drop for Hololy seems to have come out of nowhere, with the app’s appstore page on both Google and iOS having no mention of any updates since the Holostars idols were added earlier this year.

As of this update, all Japanese Hololive members from Gen 0 to 6 are now available in the app, along with a bonus option to pick Ankimo.

HoloX talents themselves have been reacting to fanmade videos of them interacting with the girls via the Hololy app, such as Sakamata Chloe.

“I actually see those videos, you know”, she said of fans making lewd jokes with it. “Well, I did a lot of things with Shion-senpai using the Hololy app, so I can’t really say much to you guys about it”.

The app allows you to superimpose your favorite Hololive members such as Takane Lui from HoloX or Shirakami Fubuki from Hololive’s first generation into photos via AR technology, altering things like their poses and facial expressions.

They even have animated dances, letting you record videos of you dancing with your favorite idols.

While the app is only available in Japanese, the app itself is available outside of Japan.
