Goblin Slayer Another Adventurer Nightmare Feast is developed by Apollosoft and Mebius, and is published by Bushiroad Inc. The game was initially announced during Tokyo Game Show 2023 and is planned to release on 29th February 2024 for the Nintendo Switch and PC, making this the first ever Goblin Slayer game to be released on console.

The game is based on light novel author Kumo Kagyu’s dark fantasy novel series Goblin Slayer. It is said that the game will be featuring an original story set in the Four-Cornered World, with original characters as well as some familiar faces.

Kumo Kagyu is in charge of the original concept and series composition, while the main character designs are being handled by Noboru Kannatsuki, who also worked on the original series.

Additionally, the game will support both English and Japanese subtitles and is fully voiced, but it only has Japanese dub.

Gameplay

Sporting 2.5D graphics, Goblin Slayer Another Adventurer Nightmare Feast is a Tactical RPG that stays true to the style of Goblin Slayer where players will have to consider the positioning of their units on the battlefield, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of both allied and enemy units.

During battle, players can make use of terrain and attribute affinities such as traps to help them turn the tides. Players also have access to high-level spells which can be used to attack a wide range of areas and even strengthen allies.

The game also features adventurers with unique jobs, so that players can organise their own party and play however they like.

Goblin Slayer Another Adventure Nightmare Feast also seems to have visual novel elements in the story mode where characters are seen interacting with one another.

Plot

Not much is known regarding the game’s story aside from a summary over on the game’s official website.

The protagonist of this game is a girl who takes over the management of an adventurers’ guild in place of her father, a lord who died suddenly, and becomes the guild master of a remote region and an adventurer herself. She meets many friends, starting with the vampire girl “Blood Princess” whom she meets on her adventures.

One day, she finds a strange ‘small box’ in her late father’s study. The box is a relic that is believed to exist in this land and enables the reanimation of the dead.

With the thoughts of those who seek to resurrect the dead crossing over the ‘small box’, will the protagonists and their party be able to put an end to the series of events?

Guild Master (voiced by Rie Takahashi)

The heroine of this work. An aristocratic girl who has been appointed as the guild master of a frontier guild branch after his father has passed away. She is well-behaved, but she is very active and sometimes rushes alone.

Blood Princess (voiced by Inori Minase)

A vampire girl who wakes up from a long sleep and joins Guild Master on an adventure. She has an irreverent and selfish temperament like a queen, and looks down on humans.

Squire (voiced by Yuki Ono)

A childhood friend of Guild Master who is active as an adventurer. Although he is active, he tends to suppress the rushing Guild Master as soon as they meet again.

Polar Bear Priest (voiced by Daisuke Ono)

A bear race circuit rider who worships the Earth Mother. He has a warm, experienced and calm personality.

Conan (voiced by Miyuri Shimabukuro)

A rune soldier wears a green robe and is armed with an iron spear who is a novice adventurer.

Lady of Principality (voiced by Hisako Kanemoto)

A childhood friend of Guild Master who is a noble daughter from the neighboring territory.She is highly trained in magic, benevolent, and has a high degree of dignity.
