[ Guide ] Beidou Hangout Event: When the Crux Shines Bright All Endings

Welcome to a simple guide to help you get all endings and branches in a new series of character stories in Hangout Events for Genshin Impact, this one featuring the one and only girlboss captain, Beidou! There are also achievements you can get related to the Hangout, so let’s begin.

UNLOCKING HANGOUT EVENTS

You’ll need two Story Keys to unlock the Hangout Event. The keys are only needed for the initial unlock, you do not need more for the rest of the events. You can teleport directly to the Alcor now, so don’t worry about swimming!

A SPECIAL GUEST

Options lead to:

• “Why would I? I’m actually quite interested in the life of a sailor.”
  • For Photography Class for Two, “Flirtatious”, Once Everything is Over endings
• “Why would I? I should be thanking them for taking me to Inazuma.”
  • For Sakura Blooms Upon Guili Fell, Between Us endings

SAILOR TRAINING

Options lead to:

• “The Shield of the Crux.”
  • For Photography Class for Two, “Flirtatious”, Once Everything is Over endings
• “The Spear of the Crux.”
  • For Once Everything is Over ending

A LITTLE TEST

You will be asked to speak with the various crew members. Xu Liushi is especially important for a little tidbit about Beidou’s past you can use later.

Correct answers:

• Underestimating danger.
• To mark distances.
• The presence of dark clouds and strong winds in opposite directions, plus white vortices in the clouds.

If you get either only one correct or all wrong, you will be on track for the Once Everything is Over ending. Obtaining this ending can also get you the Guyun Buyers’ Club achievement.

The Spear of the Crux test will see you navigate a boat through a brief course to collect Wavesplitter Insignias in 2 minutes, before it goes back on track for the Once Everything is Over ending.

THE PHOTOGRAPHY CREW

You need to pick Beidou as the model, and choose the fishing village near Wangshu Inn. Other locations will cause you to fail the Hangout.

Options lead to:

• “Maybe go for something a little… flirtatious?”
  • For “Flirtatious” ending

• “However you prefer.” or “Perhaps you can strike an epic pose.”
  • For Photography Class for Two ending

PRIVATE CHAT

Options lead to:

• “I think it’s Guili Plains, just very badly drawn.”
  • For Sakura Blooms Upon Guili Fell ending
• “I think it’s Qingce Village, just very badly drawn.”
  • For Between Us ending

GUILI PLAINS TREASURE HUNT

The most combat is against some hilichurl, a Hydro Abyss Mage and a Cyro Abyss Mage.

You’ll receive a hint about the buried treasure, which you can find at this spot past 18:00 (dusk). Proceed through the dialogue to get the Sakura Blooms Upon Guili Fell ending.

QINGCE VILLAGE TREASURE HUNT

You’ll help Beidou mediate between various quibbles, so enjoy the chat.

You can get the Wine Unburdens achievement from the Between Us ending.

Obtaining all endings for this Beidou Hangout gets you the Honorary Crux Member achievement. Does that make two with Kazuha?
