The Chainsaw Man anime is confirmed to see a 2022 release. This was announced at Jump Festa ’22 alongside a new trailer.
It was also confirmed that the second part of the manga will begin in the summer of 2022 as well. The manga will be published in Shounen Jump+. It’s a good time to be a fan of Chainsaw Man.
The anime is being developed by Studio Mappa, who has worked on a number of hit anime in recent years including Attack on Titan, Zombieland Saga, and Yuri on Ice.
Since its publication in 2018, the Chainsaw Man manga has become popular around the world and is Fujimoto’s most popular work, with over 12 million copies in circulation. Before Chainsaw Man was published, Fujimoto was best known for his Fire Punch series.

The Chainsaw Man anime will premiere in 2022 and the second part of the manga will also premiere in the summer of 2022.
