Andrew Garfield Spider Man Trends on Netflix Following No Way Home Premiere

No Way Home has given the previous Spider Man movies a breath of fresh life, as the Andrew Garfield run of the superhero is now trending on Netflix.

According to Netflix’s rankings, Marvel’s The Amazing Spider-Man, starring Andrew Garfield, is currently ranked number 4, beating out the other two Spider-man runs featuring Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland.

It seems to alternate between Amazing Spider Man and its sequel, Amazing Spider Man 2- both featuring Garfield as the titular Peter Parker.

The Amazing Spider Man movies have always faced a bit of a middle child syndrome among the three attempts to bring Spider Man to the big screen- Tobey Maguire being the first means he’s never going to get overlooked, while Tom Holland’s portrayal of the character was never going to be overshadowed as long as the MCU pulls the numbers it does.

With all three runs of the character being given a spotlight in No Way Home, though, it looks like many people are either discovering the underrated run, or discovering him for the first time.

That being said, the audience’s reintroduction to Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parker seems to have lead some fans to wanting The Amazing Spider-Man 3- likely won over by the actor’s portrayal of one of the most iconic superheroes.
