Innersloth has revealed more information for their upcoming animated series based on Among Us, with Elijah Wood being featured as part of its cast.

Over a month since a picture of the animation was teased. In an X/Twitter post, some of the cast for the Among Us animated series has now been revealed.

The cast that was revealed are:

• Ashley Johnson (The Last of Us) as Purple
• Elijah Wood (The Lord of the Rings Trilogy) as Green
• Randall Park (Ant-Man) as Red
• Yvette Nicole Brown (Community) as Orange

Interestingly, they featured Elijah Wood as one of the cast, an American actor who is well known for his performance as Frodo Baggins in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

Randall Park, who is known for characters such as Jimmy Woo in the Marvel Cinematic Universe also stars in the Among Us animated series. He is also known for his role as Louis Huang in the ABC sitcom Fresh Off the Boat for which he was nominated for the Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Actor in a Comedy Series in 2016.

Ashley Johnson is well known for providing the voice and motion capture for Ellie of The Last of Us series. She has also performed in the live-action series as a cameo.

Yvette Nicole Brown has had multiple supporting roles in many movies such as Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters and Avengers: Endgame. But one of her main roles is as Shirley Bennett on the NBC sitcom Community.

As of now, there is still no official release date for the animated series, but fans can start to imagine what it will be like for a Hobbit and secret agent to potentially backstab each other on a spaceship.

The Among Us animated series was announced back in June 2023, as reported by Variety. The project is spearheaded by Owen Dennis, who is most well known for his works in Cartoon Network such as Infinity Train and Regular Show.

CBS Eye Animation Productions will handle production for the animated series in partnership with the creators of Among Us, Innersloth.
