Aeruta, an RPG where you explore dungeons, manage a bakery, and develop a deserted town, is coming to PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch on December 10. PC players have been enjoying the game since November 6, so it’s time for console owners to get their fair share of its blend of action and life sim fun.
The game’s physical copy will reportedly be limited to Asia for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. Meanwhile, the PS4 and other regions will only receive a digital version.

A “Collector’s Box” edition is also available, which includes exclusive art books, the official soundtrack, an acrylic diorama stand, and more.
Aeruta puts the players in the shoes of Chaia, the main character who finds herself stranded in a rundown town. She works with a local shop owner to rebuild a bakery, which is where the game’s management mechanic comes in.

The bakery serves a major part of the game’s core loop. Players can arrange bread on racks, research and upgrade recipes, and develop the deserted town. As players progress, new friends will start populating it.
Aeruta’s world revolves around bread, which has slowly been forgotten by the people. As Chaia, the player’s goal is to venture into different areas to collect materials. However, enemies lurk in the world, so Chaia would have to battle them simultaneously. Materials gathered from dungeon excursions can be used to create different types of bread.
Chaia’s flashy and fast combat was heavily showcased in the console trailer, intercut with fun and wacky moments occurring in the bakery.
