Bandai has announced the Ultimagear Gold Sarcophagus from YuGiOh, acting as the perfect accessory for the Millennium Puzzle, also by Ultimagear.
The Ultimagear YuGiOh Gold Sarcophagus will be available in February 2022, and you can buy it for 3850 Yen (RM148.57). Interestingly enough one of its advertised features is the ability to store the pieces of the Millennium Puzzle, so if you haven’t finished assembling yours yet this might be the perfect accessory for you.
Unlike the Puzzle, which is a pivotal part of YuGiOh the Gold Sarcophagus is less so, mainly appearing as the box the puzzle first came in. It does appear again in the anniversary movie Dark Side of the Dimensions, where Yugi uses it to keep his deck, as well as his piece of the puzzle.
Interestingly enough it also exists in the TCG as a card called Gold Sarcophagus, which also appears in the same film.
YuGiOh has been getting a big push lately, with big announcements like YuGiOh Master Duel for fans of the TCG, as well as a growing library of merchandise for fans of the anime. These include the Kotobukiya Egyptian God Cards, as well as premium format statues like the Blue Eyes White Dragon from First 4 Figures.
