Studio Harvest’s upcoming mobile game The Saga of Tanya the Evil : Battle of Magicians  (幼女戦記 魔導師斯く戦えり) reveals two new original characters being added into the game.

– Anime Summary –

A quick summary of the anime The Saga of Tanya the Evil, an atheist Japanese salaryman was murdered by one of his subordinate after being fired by the salaryman. After being confronted by an entity who claims to be “God”, the salaryman disbelieves in its existence and criticizes the entity through facts and logic and mockingly terms it as “Being X”.

Furious by it, the entity then reincarnates the salaryman into a hellscape world full of war. Being X then states that if the salaryman either does not die from a natural death or refuses to have faith in it, his soul will then get sent to hell. Being forced into the war, the salaryman hopes to reach a high enough rank possible to remain as far away from the battlefield.

– Game Summary –

The mobile game features an RPG genre where players can form a team of 5 to engage in magic battles. Players can form familiar characters from The Saga of Tanya the Evil series. These characters wield different weapons to have different advantages in specific positions.

The first new original character being added to the game is:

Nicole von Lebenstein (Grenadier)

Nicole came from a noble family but had to join the military as a member of the 203rd Air Mage Battalion to revive her family’s name who fell in straitened conditions. Although she has been training in the snowy mountains for a month in the battalion, she still remains in a shallow relationship with the other team members.

The next new original character is:

Christina Pringsheim (Jammer)

Christina is a veteran soldier from the former Army, who also served as a training instructor. She was retained as a Magician for her magic talents. She is considered to be one of the most experienced soldier in the 203rd Air Mage Battalion. While she is self-restrained and faithful to the commands of her superiors, she is also a heavy drinker and absolutely hates insects.
