NetEase Steampunk SRPG Zold Out coming this September

NetEase Games have just announced a new Steampunk themed mobile SRPG titled Zold Out (Zold: Out~鍛冶屋の物語) will be released this September in Japan. The pre-registrations for the game will be available in this August.

This steampunk aesthetic themed game is developed by a Hong Kong developer C4Cat Entertainment, who are also the developers of the mobile rhythm game titled Dynamix.

An overview of this game is that players will be playing as a shopkeeper of a weapons store to revive the store back from bankruptcy. Players will have to forge as well as trade weapons and recruit workers for your store.

This game features a turn-based combat system where players will be able to command their units according to their abilities weapons as well as their topography. The units’ skills are showcased through a dynamic CG cut-scene.

The weapons used in each battle will be different. Blueprints for the different weapons can be collected and forged to ensure the best for your units along their journey.
