Dynasty Warriors 9 Mobile confirmed for the west!

First announced back in March 2019, the mobile version of  Dynasty Warriors 9 has been confirmed to head to the west! It was revealed in Nexon Korea’s 2019 fiscal report, indicating North America and Europe, alongside various territories outside of Asia. The Q1 2020 fiscal reports also indicated that development has not been affected despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic unlike most other bigger titles out there. Besides that, no further information has been revealed.

Dynasty Warriors 9 is the latest title in the popular Dynasty Warriors franchise. It is a game that focuses on Musou action. In case you do not know, Musou also means warriors. The game was the first in the franchise to introduce an open world that gives players the freedom to immerse themselves in a completely new Musou experience. There was also this new action called the “state combo system” which allows players to fight in many different ways. You can read about our first impression on the game here.

If you weren’t aware, Dynasty Warriors 9 Mobile will be an action MMORPG based on its original version, presumably working similarly to the other mobile MMOs out there with servers once it heads west. Yes, it will be an open-world game and the thrilling action displayed by the warriors is going to be there as well. The game is currently under development at Nexon Korea’s One Studio.
