Elementa and Silver Studio’s upcoming open-world action RPG Silver Palace has just surpassed 10 million pre-registrations across all platforms. The impressive milestone came after the game’s second closed beta test, titled ‘Dichotomy’, which ran from July 23 to August 13.
In the previous beta test, Silver Palace garnered four million wishlists. The additional six million players interested in the game signal a strong demand for the Victorian-era-inspired gacha game.

The second beta offered over 40 hours of playable content, consisting of story content and open-world activities. A huge chunk of the beta was also made for the overhauled combat system, which mainly consists of dodging, parrying, stunning, and stamina management.
Beta testers were also introduced to the investigation mechanic, which challenged their detective skills through branching storylines. However, some players stated that the game guided them too much during these sections.
The Dichotomy test also introduced a new male detective protagonist as well as eight other characters. Furthermore, players praised the game’s traversal, story, and visuals.
However, several players were torn with regards to the game’s graphics. Some experienced multiple frame drops and stuttering throughout their gameplay, despite playing on more than capable hardware.
The developers have since shared on social media: ‘Thank you for your continued support and interest in Silver Palace. We’ll continue refining the game’s content and enhancing the overall player experience, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.’

Silver Palace takes place in Silvernia, a Victorian-inspired metropolis transformed by the discovery of Silverium. Players roleplay as a detective investigating rising crime and unrest while conflict between powerful factions ensues.
The RPG is currently in development for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms. Even without a confirmed release date, its two successful beta playtests and another one coming soon prove that it has a strong following.
