XSEED Games and Marvelous Europe have confirmed that Ys Memoire: Revelations in Celceta will launch on Nintendo Switch in the west on April 28.
The game is a port of Ys: Memories of Celceta, which was previously available on PlayStation 4, PC via Steam, and PS Vita. It first launched on Switch in Japan on May 22 last year. The Switch version brings all the content from the original release along with newly arranged versions of every background music track in the game, with players able to choose between the original and the new versions.
Players follow Adol Christin, a world-famous adventurer who wakes up alone in the land of Celceta with no memory beyond his own name. He teams up with a thief named Duren, who claims the two have been traveling together, and the pair are eventually tasked by a local military general with mapping out the dangerous Great Forest of Celceta. Along the way, Adol encounters people who seem to know him, and he must figure out who he can trust as he tries to piece together his past.
The game features party-based action combat where players can swap between allies mid-battle, a mapping and exploration system tied to the Great Forest, and the refreshed soundtrack mentioned above.

The digital version is currently up for pre-order on the Nintendo eShop for $29.99. A 15 percent discount is available through May 4. A physical Day One Edition is available for $59.99 through the Marvelous USA Online Store and participating retailers.
