The Pokémon Research Lab, resembling Professor Oak’s iconic space, is the first stop. Research assistants hand out Pokémon research notes and guide you to pick your starter Pokémon. Tickets & Pricing

Access to PokéPark KANTO is organized by experience tiers to suit different types of visitors. The Ace Trainer’s Pass, costing between ¥6,500 and ¥8,000, allows full access to both Pokémon Forest and Sedge Town, and comes with extra perks like reserved seating for Gym shows, a one-time priority lane for rides, exclusive meet-and-greets, and special merchandise. The Trainer’s Pass, priced from ¥5,000 to ¥6,500, grants timed entry to Pokémon Forest along with full access to Sedge Town, though it does not include additional perks. For

those only interested in exploring the town, the Town Pass ranges from ¥3,500 to ¥4,500 and provides access to Sedge Town’s shops, rides, and attractions.

Special rides in Sedge Town, such as Pika Pika Paradise and Vee Vee Voyage, require separate tickets priced between ¥800 and ¥1,200, with Ace Trainers enjoying one-time priority lane use per day. Keep in mind that ticket availability can vary, and certain attractions or shops may require limited-access tickets, adding an extra layer of excitement to your adventure.

As of writing this, the tickets are currently sold out until March, and fans will have to wait until future notice.

PokéPark KANTO spans a combination of forest and town spaces. Pokémon Forest stretches approximately 1,600 feet with hills, tunnels, and rocky trails. Sedge Town is a compact but bustling area with shops, rides, shows, and social spaces. The park is located within Yomiuriland, between Inagi City (Tokyo) and Tama Ward (Kawasaki City, Kanagawa), offering a unique blend of natural and urban Pokémon experiences.

Getting There

PokéPark KANTO is inside Yomiuriland, between Inagi City (Tokyo) and Tama Ward (Kawasaki City, Kanagawa). By car, Tokyo visitors can use the Chūō Expressway Inagi IC, Hachiōji via Fuchū Smart IC, and Atsugi/Yokohama via Tōmei Kawasaki IC. Parking is available: cars/small vans ¥1,500 weekdays, ¥2,000+ weekends, minibuses ¥3,000 (reservation required), and limited free spaces for two-wheelers.

By public transit, take the Sky Shuttle gondola from Keiō-yomiuri-land Station (¥300 one-way, ¥500 round-trip), or buses from Shin-Yurigaoka or Yomiuriland-mae Stations. Once inside Yomiuriland, follow signs or the mobile app to reach PokéPark KANTO, with staff on hand for guidance.
