The Players’ Voice Award nominees for The Game Awards 2025 have been revealed, and fans can now cast their votes. Unlike other categories, which rely on jury decisions, this award places full power in the hands of the community. Therefore, every vote directly impacts the outcome and celebrates the fans’ favorite games.
How Voting Works
Voting for the Players’ Voice Award unfolds in three rounds, gradually narrowing the field until one winner emerges. During Round 1, which runs from December 1 to 2, fans select ten favorites from a pool of thirty nominees. Voting closes on December 2 at 6:00 PM PST, after which the ten most-voted games move forward.

Then, in Round 2 on December 4, fans choose five titles from the remaining ten. Finally, Round 3 on December 8 features five finalists, and fans vote for a single winner who will claim the Players’ Voice Award. By the end, the community decides which game will earn this prestigious recognition.
