Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO DLC DAIMA Character Pack 2 Arrives September 24

Bandai Namco and Spike Chunsoft have announced the second wave of downloadable content for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO. Titled “DAIMA Character Pack 2,” the DLC launches worldwide on September 24. Players who own the season pass or bundle gain early access starting September 21. Alongside the DLC, the developers will roll out a new game update that introduces balance tweaks and minor improvements to ensure smoother online and offline play. By releasing both on the same day, the developers show their commitment to keeping the game fresh and competitive.

Character Roster Additions

The heart of DAIMA Character Pack 2 lies in its six new fighters. Fans of Goku will be pleased to see two forms added to the game. Goku (Mini) Super Saiyan 4 highlights his smaller Daima design while maintaining overwhelming strength. Goku (Daima) Super Saiyan 4, on the other hand, showcases a full-power version that reflects his most iconic transformation in the DAIMA storyline. Vegeta also takes the spotlight with his Daima Super Saiyan 3 form, giving players access to devastating combos and explosive finishers.

The pack does not focus only on Saiyans. Majin Duu brings a chaotic energy to the battlefield, using unpredictable movements and powerful techniques to overwhelm opponents. Meanwhile, the Gomah race joins the roster with two distinct options. Third Eye Gomah delivers precision attacks and unusual strategies, while Giant Gomah relies on brute strength and towering size to control space. Together, these six additions enrich the roster by providing a balance of speed, power, and tactical depth.

Expanding Across Platforms

At present, Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is playable on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. However, Bandai Namco has already confirmed that both Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch players will gain access to the title on November 14, 2025. The staggered release allows more fans to join the growing community while ensuring performance remains optimized on each platform. For players already engaged on current systems, the DAIMA Character Pack 2 represents another reason to stay invested, experiment with team compositions, and revisit competitive battles.
