Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP Switch 2 Edition Announced

Dragami Games has officially announced that Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP will receive a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition in November 2025. This upgraded release takes advantage of the new hardware’s capabilities. Players can expect higher resolution, steadier frame rates, and improved graphical effects compared to the standard Switch version. With these changes, the game’s over-the-top combat and vivid visuals should look sharper and feel smoother.

Upgrade Path for Current Players

To make the transition easier, Dragami Games will offer an Upgrade Pass for those who already own the Nintendo Switch version. The publisher has not yet revealed whether the pass will be free or require an additional fee. More information on how players can claim the upgrade is expected soon. This system ensures that early adopters of the game will not be left behind when the new edition arrives.

Hands-On at Tokyo Game Show 2025

The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will also appear at Tokyo Game Show 2025, held from September 25 to 28 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. Attendees can try out the demo and see the technical improvements firsthand. As a bonus, anyone who plays the demo will receive a limited Lollipop Chainsaw clear file, making it a special stop for fans and collectors alike.

The RePOP remaster first launched on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on September 12, 2024, before reaching PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on December 2, 2024. Since then, the game has maintained solid momentum, surpassing 300,000 units sold worldwide by August 12, 2025. This milestone highlights the continued appeal of Juliet Starling’s bizarre yet beloved zombie-slaying adventure.

With the Switch 2 Edition, Dragami Games is not only refreshing a cult favorite but also ensuring it thrives on the next generation of hardware. The announcement signals that Juliet’s chainsaw-swinging fight against the undead is far from finished.
