Civilization: Eras & Allies has officially launched its highly anticipated Season 3: Raging Waves, now live on both iOS and Android. This major update expands the game’s strategic possibilities with the debut of naval warfare, the introduction of legendary heroes, and limited-time seasonal event packed with exclusive rewards.
Players can now take to the seas and experience a new age of tactical depth in one of the most ambitious updates to the mobile strategy title yet.
Naval Warfare Takes Center Stage

At the core of Season 3 is the brand-new Naval Warfare System, which allows the players to construct Shipyards, explore Ocean Tiles, and deploy fleets of powerful ships. These naval units can be customised through the Remodel System, a system to give players the ability to specialise their fleets around offense, survivability, or control.
Ocean Fortresses and Port Cities would further raise the stakes, adding territorial challenges and long-term strategic competition across the seas.
Legendary Heroes Join the Battlefield

The new season also introduces five powerful heroes who bring fresh abilities and tactical advantages to the battlefield. Players can now command the legendary pirate Blackbeard, the Korean naval hero Jang Bo-Go, and the famed explorer Ferdinand Magellan, all available as Champion-tier recruits.
Joining them are Elite-tier icons Anne Bonny and Mary Read, two of history’s most fearless privateers. Together, these figures expand the game’s roster and open up new strategies for both combat and exploration.
New Civilization Traits

Season 3 also updates civilization-specific traits, offering Japan and Korea unique new advantages. Japanese players will benefit from up to 10 free March or Restationing actions per day without consuming Action Points, while Korean civilizations gain powerful tiered bonuses when their Capital is placed in Crescent regions. These updates encourage players to rethink long-term strategies while boosting economic and territorial flexibility.
Bounty Missions and Historic Skills

A completely new feature, Bounty Missions, makes its debut as well. Alliances can now complete special objectives such as conquering or rescuing players, capturing tiles, or gaining Valor points within time limits. Some missions, including Capture Tiles and Gain Valor Bounties, are repeatable up to five times through Loop Quests.
Alongside this, Historic Skills are also being introduced, allowing players to unlock rare abilities through hero exchanges, significantly enhancing combat potentials.
The Scarlet Tide: Vermillion Vault Event

To celebrate the launch of Raging Waves, players can dive into The Scarlet Tide: Vermillion Vault, a limited time 7-day login event running from August 28 to September 10. By checking in daily, players can claim exclusive rewards and strengthen their armies for the challenges ahead.
The event also offers a special recruit pool featuring powerful Champion and Elite-tier heroes, as well as two new hero skins which are Yi Sun-sin’s Rising Crimson Dragon and Richard I’s Cavalry’s Expedition. Both skins will be permanently added to the Hero Costume Shop once the event concludes, giving collectors a chance to secure rare cosmetic upgrades.
