Anime-Style Shooter Strinova Has Officially Launched

iDreamSky’s free-to-play shooter Strinova has officially launched on PC through Steam, Epic Games Store, and direct client download. The game introduces players to a distinctive combat system where characters can transform between 2D and 3D forms using the “Stringify” mechanic.

Set in a multi-dimensional realm, Strinova features 15 playable characters called Superstrings, spread across three factions: P.U.S. (The Defender), The Scissors (The Attacker), and Urbino (Neutral). At launch, players can experience five different game modes across 14 maps, with more content planned for future seasons and tournaments.

The game’s unique Stringification system allows players to tactically shift between dimensions, enabling vertical wall-scaling, quick map traversal, and creative combat strategies. This mechanic, combined with multilayered maps and various tactical devices, creates a fresh take on team-based shooter gameplay.

Console players and mobile gaming enthusiasts will need to wait until 2025, when Strinova is scheduled to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, iOS, and Android platforms. For new players joining the launch, iDreamSky has prepared pre-registration rewards tied to community milestones, including commemorative items, in-game currency, and exclusive cosmetics.
