In a recent development, Shift Up has officially confirmed that their hit game, Stellar Blade, will be coming to PC in the “near future.” This announcement comes after months of speculation and rumors surrounding the potential port of the PlayStation 5 exclusive.
During the latest financial results briefing, Shift Up responded to an investor’s question about the game’s expansion to the PC platform. The developer stated, “To continue the excitement of the Stellar Blade IP, we are preparing for its release on PC in the near future.” This confirmation provides clarity for fans who have been eagerly awaiting news about a PC version.
Interestingly, Shift Up expressed confidence in the PC version’s performance, adding, “We expect better results on PC than on consoles.” This statement suggests that the developer anticipates strong sales and reception for the PC port.
The confirmation follows earlier hints and developments, including a previous statement from Shift Up about exploring PC possibilities and a mysterious job listing related to a PC version of the game. However, the company had previously mentioned “contractual relationships” as a potential hurdle, which seems to have been resolved.
