In case you missed it, ATLUS organized its first large-scale user event called “ATLUS FES” to celebrate its 35th anniversary as a game publisher and developer. The event was held at Bellesalle Akihabara B1F and 1F, in Tokyo, on June 8th and June 9th, 2024.
This event was free to attend and featured all things ATLUS, from the Shin Megami Tensei series, and Persona series, to its upcoming new IP Metaphor: ReFantazio. Without further ado, here’s what was showcased at the event.
Starting from the entrance, you can already see various posters of ATLUS’ various franchises decorating the whole venue with a large ATLUS logo as well as beautiful cosplayers cosplaying the various characters from Persona 3 Reload.
Ground Floor
The ground floor focuses on both the Shin Megami Tensei series and its spin-off, the Persona series. Various iconic statues of Personas are seen standing proudly at the venue, allowing fans to get some sweet photos and embrace their love for Persona.
This is also the floor where attendees can enjoy a playable demo for the upcoming Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance, an enhanced version of Shin Megami Tensei V that comes with new stories and features, set to be released this week on June 14, 2024. Did I mention that there was a lot of merchandise of both Shin Megami Tensei and Persona for purchase as well?
Lower Floor
Moving on to the lower floor is where fans got to experience a demo of the upcoming Metaphor: ReFantazio, a new franchise from ATLUS that will take place in a high fantasy world. The new title is scheduled to launch on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, on October 11, 2024.
Aside from an exciting playable demo, fans can also enjoy a lot of fascinating artwork of Metaphor: ReFantazio, as well as an epic-looking statue of an Archetype from the game.
Additionally, fans of ATLUS can walk through displays that showcase the history of ATLUS, with all their games being displayed as well as magazine covers their game was featured on and many more.
That is all the fascinating elements of ATLUS FES! As mentioned, Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance is launching on June 14, while Metaphor: ReFantazio is launching on October 11, 2024.
