Another year has come and Capcom has revealed the lineup of events to come in January 2024 for Monster Hunter Now, including the first appearance of Azure Rathalos.

In the announcement post, the developers have unveiled three events for January 2024 as well as Azure Rathalos finally making its royal appearance in Monster Hunter Now.

Qualily’s Special Quests

All hunters HR 11 or above will be able to complete the return of the time-limited Qualily’s Special Quests for useful materials such as Dragonite Ore, Carpenterbugs, Monster Bone+, and Zenny.

The dates are as follows (local time):

• Friday, 12 January 2024, at 5 PM until Thursday, 18 January 2024, at midnight

Descent of the Azure King

Azure Rathalos, the subspecies of the King of the Skies, will be making its very first appearance in Monster Hunter Now via limited Special Quests, with increased spawn over the weekend.

The dates are as follows (local time):

• Monday, 15 January 2024, at 9 AM until Sunday, 21 January 2024, at midnight

To hunt Azure Rathalos, players would need to have completed Chapter 13 and unlocked the hunts of the standard Rathalos.

During the following times on the weekend, both Rathalos and its subspecies will spawn more often in the forest for all hunters HR 11 and above.

• Friday, 19 January 2024, at 5 PM until Sunday, 21 January 2024, at midnight

Banbaro & Radobaan Week

Lastly, both Banbaro and Radobaan will be appearing more frequently during the following date and time.

• Monday, 22 January 2024, at 9 AM until Sunday, 29 January 2024, at midnight

During the event, all hunters HR 11 and above will be able to encounter Radobaan more in desert habitats and Banbaro more in swamp habitats.
