SEGA has announced that Football Manager 2023 Early Access Beta is now live on Steam and Epic Games Store with Early Access on the Microsoft Store to be available soon.

Players that have purchased Football Manager 2023 from a SEGA-approved digital retailer can log into their Steam or Epic and launch the game directly from their library starting today.

This option also applies to those planning on pre-purchasing the game (currently with a 20% discount) on PC or Mac from participating digital retailers until the game’s full release on November 8th.

SEGA states that the game is still not quite final and players may encounter bugs and issues in the Early Access. In which case, players can report it directly to the Sports Interactive team via the ‘Report Bug’ button on the in-game sidebar.

Early Access also comes with online play. 

However, Steam Workshop or either the pre-game or in-game editors will not be accessible until the game’s full release.

The game provides new and intelligent ways for Managers to take their teams to higher levels including:

• New AI managers with an overhaul to their decision-making capabilities
• New player animations and role improvements backed by tweaks to tactical instructions, mirroring the terminology used in contemporary football.
• Squad Planner and Experience Matrix are the core to the Recruitment revamp, giving players more options to make decisive scouting and transfer decisions.
• Support Confidence System that shows a breakdown of every club’s fanbase and their expectations and keeping both them and the boards happy is essential to the game.
• Dynamic Manager Timeline, a feature where Managers can share their successes.

Single-Player careers started on Early Access Beta can be carried across to the full game, so play now to get a head start.

Football Manager 2023 is a football management simulation game by Sports Interactive and published by SEGA to be released on November 8th on Steam, Epic Game Stores, Microsoft Windows and Xbox PC Game Pass.

Three other versions will also be released on the same day which includes:

• Football Manager 2023 Console for PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S
• Football Manager 2023 Mobile for Android and iOS
• Football Manager 2023 Touch for Nintendo Switch and Apple Arcade.
