Arknights Side Story A Walk In The Dust rerun

Arknights has announced the rerun event A Walk In The Dust to take place following the ending of the Guide Ahead event.

The event starts from October 4th and ends on October 18th, lasting for a total of 14 days.

The event requires you to finish chapter 1-10 to participate and comes in 2 phases. [Walk Alone], the standard event stages and [The Endless Road], the EX-event stages will both be available from the start of the event.

Players can complete the missions in [Song of Dust] during the event and get rewards such as the 5-Star Defender Heavyrain.

The event shop, [Reefstep Black Market], offers players items that can be exchanged for the event points that you gain from participating in the event. The items offered includes:

•       Heavyrain’s Tokens
•       Headhunting Permits
•       Elite Materials
•       LMD and Battle Records

As this is a rerun event, it carries over the stage progress and First Clear progress for players that have participated before with once-only rewards like Furnitures will instead reward Intelligence Certificates.

This rerun is also the last chance to complete the medal set for A Walk In The Dust as you would not be able to obtain any of its medals when it is added into [Side Story].

Throughout the event, a headhunting banner, Erg Passenger, featuring a rate up for specific operators will take place. The rate up operators are:

•       6-star Caster Passenger
•       5-star Snipers Toddifons and Sesa

A new outfit is available to purchase in the store as the event runs which features Heavyrain along with the rerun of the bloodline of combat collection outfit for Hellagur and Shirayuki. The outfits are as follow:

•       Vitafield [Foruiner] Series Classic – Tranquil Moss for Heavyrain (New)
•       Bloodline of Combat Collection – Octopath Illusion for Hellagur (Rerun)
•       Bloodline of Combat Collection – Wind of Breaking Blade for Shirayuki (Rerun)

The furniture set [Critical Response Team Office] will also be rerun throughout the duration of the event and you can obtain the furniture sets from:

•       A Walk In The Dust mission rewards and event shop
•       Limited-time sale at the Store

A new Operator Records will be available for the following operators starting from October 4th:

•       Exusiai
•       Waai Fu
•       Scene

Paradox Simulations for the following operators will also be available starting from October 4th:

•       Waai Fu
•       Scene

A Walk In The Dust is a rerun Side Story event on Arknights where the infamous Emperor Blade and his instakill mechanics ruins your Sanity. And also Kal’tsit in a maid outfit.
