Destroy All Humans 2 showcases the Blisk in new trailer

In the newest trailer for Destroy All Humans 2: Reprobed, more combat and gameplay was shown, focusing primarily on the Blisk. According to Pox (the player’s companion throughout the game), the Blisk are described as such:

“They’re huge, hideous brutes! With giant claws and withering halitosis! They have a single hive-mind and an imperviousness to radiation! They take to it like a pig to mud! Imagine a cockroach mating with a lobster!

The trailer did showcase the Blisk’s capabilities, primarily their resistance towards some of Crypto’s weaponry, most notably the Anal Probe. Besides the regular Blisk grunts, we also got to see Blisk Mutants in action, a result of humans being turned into hideous monstrosities from coming into contact with Blisk Spores.

Despite the title, Destroy All Humans, the Blisk are the true antagonists of the game, serving as a more challenging threat to Crypto instead of regular humans. In the announcement trailer revealed nearly a year ago, a Kaiju-sized Blisk can be seen doing battle with Crypto.

Destroy All Humans 2: Reprobed will be releasing near the end of the month on 30th August 2022. The game will be available on Xbox Series X and S, PS5 and PC.
