October is the month where we all celebrate the spooky festival and Niantic is celebrating it as well! They will be releasing an update on Pokemon Go where players will be able to catch the spooky and Ghost-type Pokemon like Gastly, Drowzee and Cubone. That’s not all! This time, Niantic has added in new Ghost-type Pokemon that was originally found in the Hoenn region; just to name a few Sableye and Banette is catchable now!

These new Pokemon that are added in the game are from the original Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. More from the series will gradually be included later in December. The Halloween Event will start on 20th October at 12:00 P.M. PDT and will be ongoing till 2nd November 1:00 P.M. PDT. 

During the event, a special Pikachu will appear in a new costume! You avatar will be able to dress up as well with a Mimikyu’s Disguise Hat. Everyone will be earning extra candy. Be it from catching, hatching and transferring, all candy obtained will be doubled!
