The resident Arknights fan slammed down the order for the Arknights First Anniversary Illustration Collection, one put together to celebrate one year since its global release. The first batch has shipped out for those of you who’ve ordered, with the second batch due to ship out in May. You can check out the shop listing here.

THE BOX

The box is a pretty thick and tough, with the text and images printed on the top and side having this holographic sheen to it. On the back, the package, mailed by Penguin Logistics, is addressed to the Doctor at Rhodes Island. The holographic text and images are lightly embossed on the box.

INSIDE THE BOX

This tightly sealed pack contains a bunch of stickers from other Yostar published games, besides Arknights.

Under that is are the two sheets of PVC posters, one of them being the anniversary art for the English stream.

THE BOOK

As advertised, the book has a ‘holographic’ cover, where Amiya’s expression changes depending on the angle. Her expression is the only thing that changes, and the cover itself is quite thick. The inner cover is completely blank. The back cover is Amiya solo, also with the holographic effect and changing facial expression. This art itself isn’t in the book.

The pages of the book are the glossy type, certainly thicker than a regular book. The store page simply states the material is coated paper. For the illustrations, the top half of the page will have the illustrator’s name and the characters featured in the piece, with a short caption on the bottom.

THE MERCH

The postcards come in a separate thick envelope, usable as a proper postcard if you so wish (?). The art used here are also available inside the book itself.

The Eyjafjalla and Angelina art is used exclusively for the magnets and do not appear in the art book.

The Frostnova and Patriot coasters also do not appear in the book, but you get a small card for the full art. The coasters can be stacked on each other to form the image. It also comes with an additional card shown below. Thanks for the reminder about chapter 6 and 7! The back of the card below also has silhouettes of Frostnova and Patriot, to further hammer it home.

Last but not least is the metal W charm, featuring everyone’s favourite explosions maniac. The back has the icon for her Jack in the Box / Skill 2 printed on it.
