Square Enix reveals adorable Snoozing Chocobo plushie

Chocobos are cute. However, a sleeping one is even cuter. Check out Square Enix’s new Snoozing Chocobo plushie, available for purchase now.

To those who worry that the plushie is a Japan-only exclusive, fret not. Square Enix Merchandise (North America) promoted the majestic bird mount with the following tweet.

Its product details state:

After a day of hunting for crystals or a delving into a dungeon only thing any Chocobo wants is to take a quick snooze! Get your very own nap buddy with this amazingly cute Snoozing Chocobo.

For those wondering how much of the adorable avian can they hug, the Chocobo’s dimensions are W 18.5″ X D 11.41″ X H 9.84″. For those who use the metric system, it is W 47 cm X D 29 cm X H 25 cm. The Chocobo is roughly the size of a small pillow, a good fit for those looking for a companion while they sleep.

The adorable creature also comes with a fitting price. The plushie comes with a price tag of $47.99 USD (around RM 195).

The Chocobo is one of the Final Fantasy franchise’s most iconic characters. Throughout its lifetime, it appeared as both ally and enemy, mount and summon. The creature is so popular, it even got its own racing game, with potentially a new one coming in the future.
